Getting Paid via PayID
Fast, secure payments, direct to your account.
When you sell your gold with Gold Buyers Online, you’ll have the option to get paid via PAYID, a fast and secure way to receive your funds directly into your bank account, often within minutes.
What Is PAYID?
PAYID is a simple and secure payment method supported by most Australian banks.
Instead of giving us your BSB and Account Number, you can choose to provide a PAYID which is usually your mobile number or email address linked to your bank account.
How Do I Set Up PAYID?
Setting up a PAYID is quick and easy.
1. Start by logging into your online banking app or internet banking platform, most major Australian banks support PAYID.
2. Once you're logged in, navigate to the section labeled 'PAYID' or sometimes 'NPP/Osko', typically found under "Payments" or "Settings."
3. From there, you’ll be prompted to choose your PAYID type. This can be your mobile number, email address, or ABN (if you’re registering as a business). Select the one that suits you best, then link it to your preferred bank account, the same one you’d like us to send your payment to.
4. Once your PAYID is active and linked, simply enter it in your Gold Selling Dashboard under "My Details". That’s it, you're ready to receive fast, secure payments.
Alternatively, scroll down this page to view setup instructions for each major Australian bank.
We’ve included direct links to help you set up your PAYID quickly and easily just find your bank below and follow the steps.
Do I Need a PAYID to Get Paid?
No, you don’t need a PAYID to sell your gold with us. We can still transfer your payment using your BSB and account number.
However, we recommend using PAYID if you can. It’s usually faster, with payments often arriving in under 60 seconds. It’s also more secure, as you don’t need to share your full bank details.
If you choose not to use PAYID, that’s totally fine. We’ll still process your payment quickly through regular bank transfer.
