What type of gold can I send in?

We accept all kinds of old, broken, and unwanted gold jewellery even if it's tangled, missing a match, or damaged. This includes:

Don’t worry if your gold is in poor condition it still holds value based on its purity and weight. We also accept gold items with stones (we’ll return any non-gold elements if requested).

At this stage, we do not buy gold bars or bullion, but we’re happy to assess most gold jewellery, no matter its condition. If you’re unsure, include it in your pack and we’ll test it for you.

How do you determine the value of my gold?

We determine the value of your gold based on three key factors:

1. We test your items using XRF equipment to assess the gold content - whether it’s 9ct, 14ct, 18ct, etc.

2. We accurately weigh your gold using certified scales.

3. We calculate your offer based on the current Australian gold price at the time we process your items.

Once tested and valued, we’ll send you a valuation to review in your Gold Selling Dashboard before proceeding with payment.

How long does the entire process take, from shipping to receiving payment?

After receiving your parcel, we will endeavour to send you a quote within 24 hours. From here, you can choose to accept or decline the payment amount. If you choose to accept, we will pay you instantly. If you decline, we will return your parcel to you within two business days. 

How do I track the status of my gold?

Inside the dashboard, you’ll see your current sale listed under My Active Gold Sales. This section updates as your items are received, tested, valued, and paid.

How do I get paid?

Once you accept your gold quote, we process payment within 24 hours.

You can choose to be paid via:

- PayID - Instant and available 24/7 (recommended)
- Direct Deposit - May take 1–2 business days depending on your bank

You can securely enter or update your PayID, BSB, and account number anytime in your Gold Selling Dashboard under "My Details".

Make sure your payment info is up to date so we can process your payout without delay.

What if I decline the valuation?

Upon declining our valuation offer, we will return your parcel free of charge.

If you had any diamonds that needed removing during the valuation process, we will also return these to you without extra cost.

You can expect your return parcel to arrive within 2-5 business days. We use Australian Post Registered service to return all items. As such a delivery will require a signature upon request.

Why do you need my ID?

As a licensed Secondhand Dealer, we're legally required to verify the identity of anyone selling gold. This helps prevent theft, fraud, and ensures every transaction is safe, secure, and fully compliant with Australian law.

We only accept official documents like a driver's licence, proof of age card, or a utility bill showing your name and address. Your details are encrypted and stored securely.
